I’ve enjoyed everything and learned a lot. The very unique way of inventory accounting was truly challenging but I’m proud of nailing it by understanding the concept and achieving a high standard of performance. I’m also proud of taking a lead in IFRS16 (lease accounting) project and accomplished a smooth transition as the new application was rolled out. Cost price maintenance was another challenge when a process was quite segmented and decentralised. Dealing with 40K + kinds of materials were overwhelming but I managed to streamline the process by developing a comprehensive template populating and validating data without compromising either effectiveness and efficiency. Another key task which is balance sheet reconciliation was a valuable opportunity to utilise Blackline system. I volunteered for system admin, brought dormant Blackline, improved balance sheet reconciliation process. I’m grateful that I had a chance to utilise HFM for the first time as reporting and analytic tool. More than 6 years of time in Bauch & Lomb enabled me to capitalise on ERP expertise on SAP & HFM. With more than 4 years of experience in NetSuite, I made a significant contribution as a conduit between NetSuite consultant & team by providing crucial inputs and educating team how to exploit the new system. I also played a key role in data migration & user acceptance test by looking into variances and finding a cause and resolving issues.
