Development Worker | Communications Officer | Digital Inclusion EnthusiastAs a Development Worker at Midlothian Voluntary Action, I provide guidance and support to third sector organisations by organising training, offering charity governance & funding advice, and engaging in local partnership working by attending various forums, grant panels, and working groups.In my role as a Communications Officer, I create content for both digital & print, plan events & campaigns, and manage multiple social media channels. I also manage the TSI website, working closely with an external website designer to ensure it is regularly updated; using a CMS to improve user experience and SEO.With a strong academic foundation in Digital Media and Interaction Design, I have developed expertise in user research, visual design, and digital content creation. By researching digital exclusion in my honours project, I came to understand the importance of accessible & inclusive design practices.
