As a Consultant my roles included:• Value engineering.• Conceptual and Designing of Networks, routing, Data rooms, Audio, Security, Telephony and ITPV• Quality assurance – implementing quality strategies within projects. Apply best practise and standards• Managing Tender process (Creation to appointing vendors).• Responding to tenders and producing RFP’s• Review of contracts to understand responsibilities and accountabilities• Review vendor build schematics and do walk through workshopsAs a project manager my roles and responsibilities included:• Formulate complete Project plans from starting up the project to closing the project.• Build the business case and project initiation document and manage the project process through to project handover• Create the strategies of Risk Management, Configuration management, Quality management and communication management.• Liaise between various parties to coordinate the preparation of various project management activity reports.• Negotiate on contract terms and conditions.• Manage conflict priorities in projects.• Brief top management on project activities regularly.• Develop and present regular forecasts of anticipated milestone achievements.• Appraise project progress against set deadlines and requirements.• Monitor budgets for project activities
