Commercial Transaction Counsel for First American Title's National Commercial Services Division (NCS), providing title insurance underwriting, commercial escrow and settlement services. Underwrite title related issues, review survey and closing documents. Provide buyer and seller's counsel with various state title requirements and recording procedures. Closing commercial real estate transactions based on the terms of the contract or its amendments, and only upon the satisfaction of all conditions in the contract; regardless of property location, number of properties or number of transaction participants.Coordinate preparation of all title requirements and payoffs, as well as coordination of other services such as UCC insurance, 1031 Tax-deferred Exchange, ALTA Survey and ExpressMap® services, International Title Insurance and more.

Reviewed proposed South Carolina legislative bills for changes in title and property laws; provided members of PLTA with summary reports of proposed changes to title and property law; and edited and reviewed proposed legislation for the realignment of the NC and SC boarder.
