On October 12, 2012 Pathstone Mental Health became the first children's mental health agency in Canada to be accredited by the new Canadian Centre for Accreditation. Pathstone scored 100% compliance in 43 mandatory standards and 94% in the 88 leading practice standards. Pathstone is an innovative, entrepreneurial organization with a 45% growth in revenue between 2008/09 and 2012/13.Accomplishments include:- Re-branded the agency from NCYS to Pathstone Mental Health- Successfully negotiated a 3-year Collective Agreement and a 4-year Collective Agreement- Restructured the organizational structure- Restructured the service delivery system into a more efficient 3-tier clinical program including brief, moderate and intensive services- Increased revenue from $6.5 to 10.2 million- Negotiated a management contract to provide strategic leadership and back room services to a not-for-profit agency- Developed a Social Enterprise division, including Clearview Community Initiatives, which generates approx. $200k annually- Successfully implemented a 3-year strategic plan and just completed the development of a new 4-year strategic plan- Launched a community-driven Anti-Stigma Campaign (www.mendthemind.ca)- Successfully raised the agency profile across Niagara Region -
