As the Senior Program Manager I am responsible for the management, development, and direction of the Strength Through Solidarity Art & Environmental Justice Co-Learning Initiative a multi-year, multi-city grant funded initiative dedicated to advancing strategies that center community leadership by supporting three BIPOC-led Environmental Justice organizations working on the front lines of environmental racism in Chicago, Baltimore and Camden.

As a consultant I work with organizations to create curriculum, workshops and trainings based on the needs of the communities they serve. I've worked with hundreds of non-profit and social services organizations to redesign programming to include themes of social engagement & advocacy, trauma-informed care and/or restorative practices. The list of organizations I've worked with includes residential treatment programs, schools, community colleges, social service organizations, non-profit after school programs and environmental education groups.

As a facilitator and trainer I worked with thousands of social workers, educators, administrators and parents to increase knowledge of evidence based trauma-informed strategies. I taught several advanced courses (Enhancing Trauma Awareness, Deepening Trauma Awareness, Applying Trauma Principles, Understanding Children, Group Facilitation, Processing Pain and Enhancing Capacity for Applying Trauma Principles) and led workshops and staff development trainings throughout the region. I also created content for online learning platforms.

I led year round arts programming for over 1200 Department of Human Services involved youth ages 10-22. I trained and managed a team of teaching artists working in detention centers, placement facilities and homeless shelters to facilitate meaningful culturally inclusive, social justice based public art projects. I created curriculum and evaluation measures as well as supported funding efforts.
