    In late 2008, NEDCC's Board of Directors acquired funding to bring the Center's Digital Services to a level on par with that of the Book and Paper Conservation Labs by creating the position of Director of Digital Services, in part to bring in someone who had experience with setting up a world-class digital studio operation. As a result, I was returned to managing the Preservation Microfilm Services and assisting in facilitating the changes within Imaging Services. As of June 19, 2009 this position has been eliminated. My duties to that date were as follows:•Provide input for digital project estimates based on eleven years production and managerial experience at NEDCC.•Interface with clients.•Prepare cost estimates/grant documents.•Monitor production schedules, quality control, billing, purchasing, and staffing.•Provide technical expertise on micrographics issues, both as a representative of NEDCC and to support NEDCC's Preservation Services Department.•Coordinate grant projects•Research potential grant funding sources for NEDCC projects.
