In life, I utilize my adaptable, meticulous, and collaborative skills in every environment. These skills are especially vital to life at Indiana University, as I’m pursuing my degree in Accounting.Adaptable: I co-founded a charity run in my community where I was tasked with running the event and managing communications with organizations in my area. We knew that adaptability was vital to our success, and I learned to how think quickly and come up with last-minute ideas.Meticulous: As a member of Kelley Student Government, I have the responsibility of being the voice for Kelley students, and I am passionate about making an impact. I am actively engaged in meetings and I learned the importance of being organized and careful with choices. This aspect transfers over to my school/work life, and it comes in handy frequently.Collaborative: Before my senior year, I was accepted into the Young Women’s Institute through the Kelley School of Business. In this four-day program, I had the opportunity to work a case competition. I kept the team on topic and made sure we met our timeline. At the end, we presented in front of an esteemed panel of judges, and we came in second place.
