Responsible for leading and developing global trademark and branding strategies, managing day to day legal aspects of brand generation, clearance and selection, and enforcement for brand names, design patents and logos.

- Conduct IP related diligence on companies and / or third party patent portfolios for possible acquisition or licensing analysis- Conduct patentability analysis on invention disclosures - Review third party patents for product clearance issues- Conduct freedom to operate, clearance, patentability, invalidity, and landscape searches- Review documents for proper trademark usage

- Contracted with the USPTO to prepare the International Search Reports (ISR) and Written Opinions of the International Searching Authority (WOISA) for incoming PCT Applications- Contracted with the USPTO to review incoming PCT Applications for unity of invention, unsearchable claims, and lack of antecedent- Review others’ International Search Reports and Written Opinions for incoming PCT Applications- Conduct prior art searches in life sciences, mechanical, computer, business methods, and electrical disciplines- Prepare patentability, invalidity, accelerated examination, clearance, freedom to operate, and state of the art searches
