I have been a practicing counsellor/therapist since June 1997 both in private practice with individuals and groups, and as a workplace counsellor in the corporate and construction sector. I became a counsellor after living through many challenging life experiences and surviving them, thanks to many years of having therapy myself.Since COVID started in 2020, I have been working online via phone and video with an EAP Provider and continue to work with them on an as needs basis, offering clients solutions focused brief therapy, or other therapies/counselling over a short term.I also offer suicide intervention and attend critical incidents onsite.I continually offer counselling and therapy online in my private practice as well.I have been constantly developing my skills over time, not only as a therapist, but as a compassionate and heartfelt human with many lived experiences, and as someone who truly cares.I know that my client has all the resources within to heal, and I connect with them in a positive and supportive way.
