Lead student mobility initiatives for the College of Liberal Arts & Sciences, including study abroad programs, faculty-led courses, and exchange programs for both domestic and international students.

I manage faculty-led study abroad programs for the College of Arts & Sciences, incoming exchange students, and academic enrichment programs for international students on the Illinois campus.

WAKE’s mission is to amplify the work of women leading change globally. WAKE links high-impact, women’s organizations to technology tools and expert Advisors from leading companies to accelerate their impact and scale their work for women and girls. We work closely with our private sector partners to provide tools, products, advisors and resources.Women’s organizations are leading the charge to address the most critical issues impacting women and girls, including gender-based violence, trafficking, child marriage, access to healthcare and education, political participation, and economic empowerment. We believe that with great access to technology tools and expertise, these organizations can be more effective in moving the needle for women’s rights and security globally.

SAWBO uses mobile phone technology to create and deploy educational, animated videos on the critical development topics of agriculture, health and women’s empowerment to some of the world’s poorest populations.

The Center for Global Studies globalizes the research, teaching, and outreach missions of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. The Center is a National Resource Center in Global Studies designated by the U.S. Department of Education.

Taught two recitation sections for a qualitative research methods course in the International Education MA program.Taught two recitation sections per semester for core social theory courses in the International Education MA program. Served as an academic advisor to MA students and advised prospective MA and PhD students.

Managed all administrative aspects of two Department of State-sponsored summer institutes for foreign academics. Coordiinated travel arrangements, events, speakers, immigration documentation and financial administration for the groups of foreign scholars. Reported to State Department and Program Director, and oversaw team of six staff. Compiled final evaluation reports.

Managed government, corporate and foundation-sponsored programs. Worked with sponsors and partners including the U.S. Department of State Middle East Partnership Initiative, USAID, Internews dot-Gov, Microsoft, Cisco Systems, Adobe, The William and Flora Hewlett Foundation and The Bernard Osher Foundation.
