Ms. Ito has held multiple leadership positions helping companies scale and navigate the challenges of a quickly-changing environment. Having served in executive roles in both public and private companies, Ms. Ito has had broad operational experience including sales/marketing, business development, mergers and acquisitions, and business restructuring. In 2004, Ellyn founded Sigma Integrated Resources, an Advisory firm focused on serving the unique needs of start-up and mid-sized businesses. In the Fall of 2018, Ellyn invested in and joined her client, Helius Medical, Inc, a neuromodulation medical device company that she had served since its inception in 2014 until May 2021, when Ms. Ito co-founded Innerstill, a neuroenergetic device company focused on mind-body health and diseases rooted in neuro-hormonal or neuro-metabolic dysfunction. Ms. Ito is also Founder of Seeds to Sew International, a non-profit organization committed to improving the lives of women and girls in compromised communities. Ellyn's social justice focus fuels her passion to create opportunities for those less fortunate -- whether this is access to health care, technology, education or skilled jobs. Ellyn lives in Hopewell, NJ with her husband, Dr. Daniel Sigman, a biogeochemist and faculty member at Princeton University.
