Van Os Consulting was launched in Panama to offer exclusive services of luxury brand positioning and development, market launches, and marketing campaign management. I also produced and executed corporate and society events including co-founding a new fashion event series, Glamavida. Van Os Consulting focused on events conceptualization planning and production – to promote brands specially related with fashion, art and culture. I oversaw conceptualization, logistics management, sponsorships, personnel management, customer relations, exhibitors and sponsors, in addition to marketing, PR and communications. The luxury events included corporate events, brand launches, art exhibitions and society events. Special projects included Fashion Week México, 2008 (coordination and production of fashion show of swimwear designer Josette Carbajal Cocolat), Artblock Arts Foundation (sponsorship Director, funds for a series of events that support local artists and musicians) and Barclays Open Singapore (pro Bono, planning and operations). Glamavida was an exclusive, invitation-only event series for luxury fashion and shopping. Glamavida brought together the best designers of Panama, boutique owners, stylists, photographers and makeup artists. Each event averaged over 600 attendees, and the brands we worked with included Diesel, Smashbox, MINI Cooper, Piaget, Quintessentially, Felix B. I was hired to launch the Food & Beverage department and hire and train 25+ people following the $25m investment and completion of construction by Empresas Bern (a known name in the construction, hotel and tourism business).Managed by Starwood Hotel & Resorts, the eloquent French chain Le Méridien Hotels & Resorts is Panama City's top full–service business and luxury retreat and a 5-star hotel offering spectacular views of Panama Bay and the Pacific Ocean. In 2009, I was invited to join the launch team for both Vogue and Glamour entering the Latin American markets. I worked in ad sales, managing large advertising contracts and strategic partnerships for the media brands. I was responsible for prospecting and securing ad sales for publications, pitching benefits of advertising to client and negotiating prices. As Restaurant Manager I led a staff of 45, ran monthly schedules, hiring and training.
