Mechanical Engineering responsibilities include:-Design primary air handling systems with air-to-air heat recovery, direct-expansion (DX) air-conditioning systems, chilled water and hot water generation distribution systems, humidification, and controls/ building automation systems (BAS).-Design of HVAC and piping system layouts.-Heat load calculations, system sizing, energy performance studies.-Building Automation System (BAS) design. Control System design for all mechanical systems.-Commissioning services including writing pre-functional checklists and functional performance test requirements specific to each project.-Creation of 3-Dimensional Building Information Modeling (BIM) projects in Autodesk Revit 2018-2020.-Creation of construction documents using Autodesk AutoCAD 2020.-Project site visitations and follow up report preparation.-Ability to read plans and meet requirements of local counties and municipalities.-Coordinate equipment selections with manufacturers and their representatives.-Develop more efficient tools to automate engineering calculations and increase productivity.-Coordinate with other industry professionals such as architects and engineers.-Thorough analysis of system failures for clients

City Floors is a relatively new competitor in the flooring industry. However, this should not discredit the efforts and strides the company has made. Starting fresh in both a well established market and long standing historical industry proves to be difficult, but City Floors has managed to increase revenue annually and with my efforts, largely expand its clientele range and size. While in this role I have:-Utilized Excel to create spreadsheets to organize completed for clients.-Managed QuickBooks for keeping record of accounts through the duration of our involvement with the customer.-Performed estimates for clients which requires measuring surface areas, calculating removing costs for existing floor, and adding in additional costs for the product, labor, delivery, and installation of new materials.-Scheduled estimates that coincided with available times in our flooring manager’s schedule and schedules of our clientele. -Self-educated extensively about the products we offer including hundreds of different floors ranging from Engineered Wood to Vinyl and Laminate flooring options. -Advised manager on decisions about the look and functionally of the company's webpage and new office.

Originally, this started out as an opportunity to enrich my teaching skills by assisting the Professor. What came next was the chance to create a network of students to tutor on my own time. Eventually, I became a tutor for the college, and a freelance tutor for students taking anything from College Algebra to Calculus lll.
