The Green Times is an online green portal with the intention to help mobilize and encourage the transition from an extractive world to environmentally sensitive business and life systems. We help educate South Africa and the English speaking world by sharing sharing knowledge and promoting green solutions.. We encourage everyone across the country to join in, subscribe to our free newsfeed, contribute, and use this platform to spread news about all things new, alternative and good-for-the-earth, ourselves and all species. Editing, Mentoring and Proofreading(1) Editing of completed manuscripts. I work on both Afrikaans and English texts. Editing entails things like: streamlining the text, removing superfluous words, repetitions and clichés, overstatements, improving style, heightening the drama, making the text more readable, improving structure and plot, character development, etc.(2) Writing mentoring - This is where a writer is coached during the writing of a book or manuscript. It can be done by means of email, face-to-face or telephonic consultations.(3) Proofreading - correcting mistakes, punctuation, register, spelling, etc.

1990: Founded Stellenbosch branch of Wildlife Society and headed up all resultant projects. 1993: Initiated and managed Recycling Depot at the Stellenbosch Night Shelter.
