I work in a great team where we write articles, conduct interviews, create info-graphics, we produce short animated videos or create full length documentaries on scientific issues.𝙀𝙪𝙧𝙤𝙥𝙚𝙖𝙣 𝙍𝙚𝙨𝙚𝙖𝙧𝙘𝙝 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙄𝙣𝙣𝙤𝙫𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙋𝙧𝙤𝙟𝙚𝙘𝙩𝙨If you are scientist preparing an application for a H2020, Horizon Europe or New Green Deal proposal, and need help for your Communication, Dissemination and Engagement activities, please reach out to me. With ESCI we participate regularly in such proposals and make sure that you get the extra points to get the necessary funding. We have won some of the most prestigious prizes in documentary filmmaking, including the Jackson Hole Science Media Awards or Pariscience. Our films have been broadcast on the most prestigious channels in the world, including BBC, Discovery, National Geographic, ARTE, ZDF, ARD and many others. 𝙎𝙘𝙞𝙚𝙣𝙘𝙚 𝘾𝙤𝙢𝙢𝙪𝙣𝙞𝙘𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙏𝙧𝙖𝙞𝙣𝙚𝙧I am not only a science journalist and TV producer, but I also help scientists to become better communicators. In our courses we analyse what channels scientists may be interested in approaching, and we provide them with a first set of tools. In my courses I help to - find your target audience and right channel- select the best media for this channel- identify an appropriate hook- develop your key messages, - use storytelling techniques,- play with great visuals 𝙈𝙮 𝙑𝙞𝙨𝙞𝙤𝙣In the short term, my aim is to create the ESCI Academy, to develop an on-going course in science communication to support scientists, PhD students and other academics to help them to bridge the gap between science and society. These courses should take place regularly in different European cities and include public speaking, video making and social media communication.
