As a DevOps Engineer in Raiffeisen Bank, I came to realise how vast the field is and that there is no one way to achieve a goal. Not only did I grow as an engineer, but also as a person. I became a much better team-player, understanding colleague and someone who is a bridge between people and technology. During the time at Raiffeisen, I had a chance to get in touch with many cutting edge technologies and to learn from seasoned veterans where the focus was uptime and resilience.From all the things I've done, I would like to mention a few note-worthy:- Built, managed and maintained several OpenShift clusters,- I've built dozens of CI/CD pipelines on locally hosted Azure DevOps agents for services written in .NET, Java, Angular or NodeJS and those were then deployed on OpenShift with focus on security and footpring,- I've deployed and customized AMQ Streams clusters (Kafka) on OpenShift with message mirroring, auto-scaling and HA over multiple OpenShift clusters,- AMQ Brokers were deployed on multiple OpenShift clusters (PROD and DR sites) with message mirroring and HA.Over the years at Raiffeisen, I gained vast knowledge of the following:- OpenShift,- Docker,- AMQ Streams (Kafka) for event-streaming,- AMQ Brokers (ActiveMQ),- OpenShift Data Foundation (Ceph storage),- MinIO for S3 storage,- Azure DevOps and locally hosted agents for CI/CD,- Elastic stack and EFK (Elasticsearch, Fluentd and Kibana) stack,- Prometheus,- Grafana,- OpenTelemetry,- Tempo (Jaeger) for distributed tracing,- ArgoCD for continous delivery,- Keycloak,- NGINX,- 3scale API manager and so much more...

Started as a BackEnd developer, but found myself gradually leaning towards DevOps when the project required someone to work on AWS. Came to realise that I like automating stuff, provisioning infrastructure and reading documentation more than coding :).Gained knowledge of how cloud works, got introduced to AWS and learned how some of the crucial AWS services work. Those include:- Cognito,- IAM,- DynamoDB,- CodeCommit, CodeBuild and CodeBuild,- CloudWatch,- Elastic BeanStalk,- EC2.
