Elmer started his career in the clinical research industries in Jan 2007. He has been working in both pharmaceutical and CRO companies. To date, he has more than 15 years’ experience in this industry and around 13 year’s clinical team and project management experience. He has handled studies in different therapeutic areas such as CNS, oncology, cardiovascular disease, endocrinology, mental disorder, autoimmune disorder, infection and Gastroenterology. His experience spanned the major duration of studies, from study kick off, study start-up, enrollment and maintenance, data analysis, CSR development to study closure. He worked with various APAC and EU countries including China, South Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Vietnam, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Philippines, Australia, Japan, UK and Italy. Elmer has experience in taking the global project manger role of clinical trials. He leads the function teams include clinical, medical, regulatory pharmacovigilance, data management and biostatistics team to run the studies. Elmer has extensive exposure in the major market in the Asia Pacific regions like China, Japan and South Korea. Elmer is familiar with the clinical research field in China, which is one of the fastest growing market, he has worked as a global project manager for a China only full-service studies that target for the NDA submission, he has also worked in a good amount of studies with the China component in the past 11 years.
