I worked as a supervisor of the event staff at HJK home games during the 2024 season.

I completed this internship for my master's studies in sports coaching and fitness testing at the Finnish Cheerleading Federation. During this internship, I had the chance to update the athlete's path document as well as take a look at their testing batteries and make improvement suggestions to it.

This was a summer job as a customer service specialist in the Contact Center at SATO. This job taught me to work efficiently in difficult situations as well as handle upset customers and have them leave our interaction satisfied and happy. I learnt the basics of how the rental apartment business works. Additionally I learnt to use different databases.

During this job, I was responsible for attending to the company's customer service email and developing a practicing plan for wakeboarding enthusiasts. In addition, I coordinated and designed a video series (20 videos in total) to use for marketing wakeboarding and other services. One of the company's values is saving the Baltic Sea. My input to this was coordinating about the project between our 8 service provider partners around Finland about their participation in the project. I was also a part of the planning team for the multi-sport event Baltic Sea Adventure 2022 organized in August. Lastly, I was responsible for translating the company's entire website from Finnish to English.In addition to my main responsibilities described above, I attended weekly staff meetings and also worked part-time directly in customer service at the locations. I assisted other employees in any tasks they needed extra help with. This job gave me a fairly good insight to what goes into running a business providing seasonal sport services.

This job taught me to work in busy environments while keeping a smile on my face. It also required the ability to make independent decisions in fast pace environments as well as working as a team.

During this summer job, I was in charge of each shift I worked. This encouraged me to take the lead during varying situations and helped me become a very independent employee. This job required skills to adapt to fast-changing environments and work under pressure. It also taught me how to work in stressful situations with different people.

During my first summer at Laguuni my job included customer service and instructing watersports such as wakeboarding, kayaking, sup-boarding, and an inflatable waterpark.

During this time I was part of a research group studying the physical activity and motor skills of kindergarteners. My job was to visit kindergartens around the Helsinki metropolitan area and complete different tests incl. KTK and TGMD-3 with the children. It was also my responsibility to transfer all the data I gathered to electronic databases used for data collection. Faculty of Educational Sciences.
