In this position, I have supervised the hiring process of the largest student leaders staff team, presented at conferences on behalf of the department, and managed all administrative processes, staff development, and programming budget of approximately $1,300. In addition, I coordinated staff meetings and supervised, trained, and evaluated future resident advisors.Other, general responsibilities included:- Providing a multi-layered response system for student health concerns, de-escalation of crisis, student safety, and facility upkeep- Providing an effective response system that allows for all student and professional staff to have dedicated time off and away from job responsibilities and duties connected to the Office of Residential Life- Providing an elevated experience beyond the Residential Advisor response to student Hall Directors that follows trends and practices of a standard Hall Director position while balancing the undergraduate student role

Some of my responsibilities in this position included:- Provided 24-hour duty coverage for crisis intervention and adjudicated disciplinary cases on a rotating basis- Fostered development of relationships among 40 ethnically diverse students, organized several educational programs promoting diversity, mental health, and community engagement- Communicated, corresponded, and collaborated with on and off-campus offices such as counseling, student activities, campus security, ensuring wellbeing and safety for students in emergency situations- Served as a role model for campus students and maintained a positive environment for the multicultural community development

Some of the responsibilities included:- Initiated ideas on the development of COVID-19 safety strategy and logistics for the contactless student move-in process- Created remote programs for residents promoting the interaction of social networks between community and residents during COVID-19 outbreak- Prepared housing applications and packages for incoming students residing on-campus considering safety measures
