Director Of Programs
Current• Skilfully direct the strategic planning, implementation, monitoring, evaluation, reporting and documentation of assigned projects, including the Climate Change Education and Action Program (CLEAP), the Sustainable Aquaculture in West and Central Africa (SASWeCA) project, the Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) project and the Clean Energy Program (CEP), which more specific job responsibilities are highlighted in the subsections below.• Establish and maintain relationship with national and subnational government executives and policy makers, nongovernmental organizations, civil society organizations, the United Nations Volunteers Programme (UNV), National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), stakeholders, private sector enterprises, the academia, the media, and various other organizations, and utilize the relationships to strategically enhance PASDO’s Mission.• Contribute to fundraising efforts, identifying partnership opportunities, developing strategy, and actively supporting implementation of fundraising actions. • Participate in budget planning, management and reporting, direct the recruitment and management of staff, and oversee general office management.• Write reports, prepare templates, oversee communications and the production of information, education and communication (IEC) materials, and efficiently handle other tasks.• Ensure gender responsiveness and mainstreaming of gender concerns in all assigned projects.
