Printing electronic devices and systems for radiofrequency and biomedical applications. We manufacture from Organic Thin Film Transistors (OTFTs) to passive, RF or hybrid circuits by using innovative additive manufacturing techniques such as Inkjet Printing.The IMB-CNM PrinteLab long-term mission is to make low-cost, flexible and biodegradable electronic circuits and make them available to the scientific community and companies in order to enable novel applications.I graduated in Telecommunications Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia (UPC) in 1996, and I hold a Master in Micro- and Nanoelectronics Engineering (UAB) and a PhD thesis in Microelectronics and Electronic Systems (UAB) in Inkjet Printed Microelectronic Devices and Circuits. In 1996 I joined as an Assistant Professor in Digital Systems and in the VLSI Design Group in the Electronic Engineering Department at UPC in the field of VLSI low noise digital design in advanced technologies where I was collaborating until 1999. Since 1999, I am an Assistant Professor at the Electronic Department of the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB) where I teach Telecom and CS BsC and MA of Telecom Engineering. In 2004, I joined the CEPHIS Laboratory (UAB) working as Project Manager, Wireless Senior Researcher and as a Head of the Printed Microelectronics Group. Currently I am with IMB-CNM (http://www.imb-cnm.csic.es) working as Researcher and Printed Microelectronics Group Project Manager.My current research interests are focused on inkjet printed electronic devices and systems, electrical characterization, layout post-processing for inkjet and TDK integration.I am co-author of more than 40 publications in journals and conferences and participant or co-leader in more than 75 European, national and regional R&D projects.
