I love what I do. And I’m grateful for that.I love exploring ideas and bringing them to life! That’s what I do at Sakari. We’re a closely-knit, small tech startup that develops apps, apps that we’re really, really passionate about. Initially conceived from my desire for a robust workflow application in the dental industry, Sakari is now also devoted to the world of kids' adventures and education with Yayatopia and our newest, secret in-house project.I love performing surgery - dental surgery! To me, it’s all about the challenge of taking someone to a special and comfortable place; and I love the physics of it (cuz it’s all about mechanics). Not only that, but the All-on-X treatment modality in dental implants is a game changer; we're now able to help someone, someone who was a "hopeless" case, find enjoyment in eating again. That is simply priceless! And of course, let's not forget about my techie-self. The toys make it all fun! We are one of a few clinics in the country to offer live navigation for surgical implant placement… it's like GPS for surgery - really, really cool stuff!And I love teaching! At McGill University, it's been over 20 years of students for me. I hold their hands at the beginning of their dental school journey, and I see them blossom into amazing clinicians, colleagues, specialists, and program directors - a true honor and a very humbling experience.Lastly, I love being a dad! It has redirected my focus, and has immensely shaped my business ideation. And now I'm being bossed around for a change!
