My first year and half at CSUSM was focused on learning PeopleSoft Campus Solutions, supporting and maintaining the Academic Advisement Module, testing upgrades, working on a custom PeopleSoft modification, managing data requests, and extracting student data from PeopleSoft (PS Query). Since February 2013, my support has changed from the Academic Advisement module to supporting Student Records and Enrollment Reporting. I continue to work on other IT projects and manage IT Data Requests (RaDAR). All of my roles and projects utilize my skills of functional testing, end user support and training, and developing system and business process documentation.As an advisement module administrator, I was responsible for supporting the academic advisors and maintaining the logic behind academic requirements and their fulfillment in the system (Academic Requirements Report or Degree Progress Report). One of the influential PS queries I wrote on the resulting data (to determine Course/Requirement Need) was turned into an SSRS report and received a Campus Technology Innovator Award in Administrative Systems in 2013 (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GHAFwlvt5u8&list=FL3sxLNz1s67zJmqperegqZQ). A priority project in my first year was to gather requirements and write a functional spec document for a custom PeopleSoft module for Student Outreach and Referral management. The SOAR Referral System is like an early warning system, but is designed to respond to both academic and non-academic factors in connecting students to resources and success. Phase 1 of 3 was implemented in May 2013.As a student records administrator, I work closely with the campus registrar to run cyclical batch processing and communications. I also conduct enrollment and degree reporting to internal clients (campus census), the CSU Chancellor's Office (ERS and ad hoc reports), and the NSC.-Awards-May 2014 Employee of the Month

Participated in the planning phase of implementing an enterprise search application at ViaSat, Inc. Worked with the ViaSat project manager and the Endeca (product) implementation team to collect, organize, and analyze user requirements from department representatives across the company.

Managed and communicated internal requests for changes to financial reports.Represented the needs of the Financial Systems Group during the implementation of an internal Service Request ticketing system. Worked with the IT department to determine appropriate specifications for the user group.
