Evandro has a degree in Electrical Engineering and Mathematics, and post-graduation in Automation. He earned his M.Sc. Degree in Engineering at Federal University of Minas Gerais State, presenting a Master Thesis about time series forecast through neural networks. He is also post-graduated in Business Management by Fundacao Getulio Vargas.His professional experience was developed at Usiminas. He started in Automation area, passing by the Industrial Direction Advisory, Quality Management, Technology Transfer, and Project Management Office (PMO) Investments. Among the projects that he led, distinguish the Energy Center Automation (1986), the ISO 14001 Certification (1996), the ISO 9001 Certification (2001), and the Usiminas'​ PMO implementation, with its methodology for project management adhering to the requirements of the IPA and the PMBOK, as well as its procedures, performance indicators, and reports to top management. His international experience includes periods of training in Japan, discussions with Argentinean institutions about products certification, the development of a quality management system to a Chilean steelworks, and the technology negotiation with Europeans, Arabians, Japaneses, and Chineses.He is author of dozens of papers, that was presented included in USA, and he also has spoken in congresses and universities. Nowadays, Evandro is professional consultant and postgraduate professor, teaching courses related to leadership and quality management systems.Fellow of American Society for Quality (ASQ), holding CQA and CQE certifications. In ASQ, he was designated, in 2001, Brazil Certification and Recertification Chair, in 2003, Brazil Country Counselor, and, elected, in 2005, Brazil Board Chair, being re-elected the following three years until 2009, when democratically did not run for reelection. In 2010, he was elected VP of Brazilian Academy of Quality (until 2014) and, in 2013, designated ASQ Brazil Country Counselor again (until 2015). In 2022, he was elected Associate Academician of International Academy for Quality.
