Originally a self-taught web developer (PHP, MySQL/MariaDB, JavaScript) and system administrator (Debian, Ubuntu, Arch), I have a Computer Science degree (License d'Informatique). I joined the 42 school along a Master degree but chose to concentrate on 42's projects and start my internship.I worked for three years at Logilab where I improved my knowledge of Python and Docker. I learned TypeScript, React, Kubernetes, among other things, and also all about the inner working of a professional team (kanban, sprints, efficient code reviews).I have worked for two years at Spacefill, where I improved my knowledge of PostgreSQL and learned Ansible and Terraform for the devops side.My strongest ability is to be able to make technical choices in short and/or long term when developing features in an application, but also to be able to easily adapt to a new code base.I'm self-hosting a lot of applications for my own usage, including Mastodon, GitLab and Nextcloud.I keep watch on computer science, programming and infosec with a number of RSS/Atom feeds that I'm subscribed to.You can find more information on my website: https://elou.world/about
