Acted as a trainee intermediary between ship owners and shipyards. On-the-job accomplishments as a junior broker, were coordinative and administrative support tasks. Involved in ship-repairs, conversions and new-building projects and obtained market information and the ability to get on with people from a variety of backgrounds. Assisted the operations department to get an understanding of the more technical nature of shipping, such as double-checking of specifications and contacting with Chinese ship-repair market.
