Lorenzo Ortiz has been working in the film industry since the age of 13. After working in all the crew positions and departments he decided to specialize himself in Post- Production. He received certification from The International Film and Television Workshops in Rockport, ME and from the Boston Film and Video Foundation in Boston, MA. There he specialized himself in Avid’s Media and Film Composer, Media 100, Adobe Premiere and Final Cut Pro. He rounded out his education and work experience by working as a teacher’s assistant and Audio Visual Technician at Harvard University and other school in the Boston area. In 2000 he moved to Los Angeles, CA where he worked for big budget Hollywood films and television programs.For 10 years Lorenzo has worked in the studio system and for independent productions in the United States, Canada, Europe and the Caribbean. He has edited and worked in the Post-Production Department of Features, Short Films, Commercials, Music Videos, Corporate and Industrial Videos.He has directed and produced three features “Midsleep’s Winter Travels”, “What I Tell the Wind/Lo Que Cuento al Viento” & "El Principito: Proyecto Audio/Visual" and over 73 short length films, music videos or other on-line content videos.
