Redesign the resource index page for the Chicago Tool Library, including adding mapping features, search functionality, and connecting the site to a database. I focused on redesigning the front-end components. I implemented buttons onto the screen that would allow the user to filter out search results based on categories that correspond with the database of resources.

CompileHer is an organization whose main goal is to introduce computer science to young girls in local Chicago schools. I work as a curriculum teacher, leading workshops as well as creating video lessons to serve as substitutes for live workshops.

• Created and debugged lessons and worksheets through Jupyter notebooks focused on teaching computer programming concepts using the Python language, and web development through Flask. Topics included APIs, Databases, and Error handling. • Finalized a 6-week curriculum that teaches programming concepts using MIT App Inventor as part of an intern team with an end goal of students programming and marketing a community based mobile app.• Served as a Teaching Assistant in a virtual classroom with high school students, creating tutorials and lesson material for topics such as programming basics, and UI/UX design.
