I worked primarily with a working group focused on NST (Non-State Torture), and researched various conventions and documents that addressed torture and domestic violence, compiling a cohesive list of international laws. I also translated documents into Spanish to be used among Latin American organizations and delegates.

I interned in my local Mayor’s office in Long Beach California for Robert Garcia who is now running for Congress. My responsibilities included managing basic office tasks as well as communicating with constituents and organizing city council meetings.

I interned for California's 47th District Office under Congressman Alan Lowenthal. My responsibilities included communicating with constituents and providing solutions, providing research on legislation to my superiors for meetings and events, and working the front desk. This position provided experience in a local government office, and has especially strengthened my communication and research capabilities.
