Teknikföretagen is an employers’ organisation, and a force for innovation. We are present throughout Sweden and assist 3,500 engineering companies in labour law and industry issues, enabling them to focus on developing world-class goods and services. Engineering companies shape the future –and we help them to succeed.I managed the national project MATENA (MAtematikTEknikNAturvetenskap) for Teknikföretagen during 1,5 years. Matena is aiming to develop long-term relationships and mutual learning commitments between swedish engineering and industrial companies and teachers within the science field in the swedish school system for ages 9 to 13 (s.k. mellanstadiet).

Teknikcollege is a model of competence centres where municipalities, providers of education and companies collaborate with a common aim to increase the attraction and quality of technology-oriented courses for the needs of industry. The goal is for the companies’ future employees to possess the skills that are required on a global market. The association of Teknikcollege in Sweden was founded in december 2007. I started up the head office for the organisation in early 2008. My role was much of an CEO working together with the newly founded board of the association. I left due to parental leave.

I got the commission to start up the regional association and operation of Teknikcollege in the region of Göteborgsregionen (GR) with its 13 municipalities.

I got the mission to examine the possibilities to start one of Sweden's first Teknikcollege in a strategic region for my employer; The Swedish Forest Industries Federation. It carried out well and I got the role as Project Manager for the project.
