I joined Glass Mountain in September 2017 as an associate poetry editor and became the head poetry editor in June 2019. I worked with the associate poetry editors to read poetry submissions and decide which pieces would be published in Glass Mountain. I worked closely with the other head editors to edit and proofread the magazine to make sure it looked its best. I was in close contact with the authors we published.

Houston, Texas Area

As a library assistant, I helped patrons find items they were looking for, both at MD Anderson Library as well as at other libraries within the University of Houston system. I assisted patrons in checking out items and aided in opening and closing the library.

Dallas/Fort Worth Area

From May-August in 2017, 2018, and 2019, I worked as a temporary bookseller at the Flagship location of Half Price Books. I worked the register and POS system, organized and sorted incoming and outgoing merchandise in the back and on the sales floor, and assisted customers (both in the store and over the phone) in finding the items they were looking for.
