I have been an Early Childhood Consultant at Community Living Toronto for over several years now. Before becoming a Consultant, I worked as Resource Teacher at Community Living Toronto. I also worked as an Early Childhood Educator at Humber college and before working at Humber College I worked at the YMCA daycare centers in Mississauga, Ontario, and North York, Ontario.As an Early Childhood Consultant by Profession, I am also a firm believer, as well as passionate concerning, Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) for all. I am also a member of our Local CUPE2192 Equity, Equality, and Diversity Committee at Community Living Toronto.To date, I have completed numerous trainings on DEI, along with life experiences and research completed on my own time. With this knowledge, I have created workshops on, "Confronting Anti-Black Racism ", " Cultural Humility in the Classroom", and "Building Cultural Responsiveness in Early Childhood Education". I have also written several poetries on the topic of DEI, and my most recent accomplishment is, I just completed my very first self-published children's book. "The World I Live In, We Are All Human".
