When people ask do I love my job…The answer is yes! I am completely grateful for the community I serve. The majority of our citizens support our department and on many occasions have shown my fellow colleagues and I so much appreciation. Many people can take this for granted, but with 14 years of experience under my belt, I truly see the impact and the benefits of having a wonderful community to serve. It helps your mindset, to be better, to remember why you choose this profession, and to want to continue to make a positive impact in someone’s life. There are opportunities that have been presented to me, which remind me of each day why I love my job and why this can be a rewarding career if you have that right mindset to grow, challenge yourself, and be the best that you can be.
