CESAREF, Concerted European action on Sustainable Applications of REFractories, will train researchers in multi-engineering areas and expose them to the academic and non-academic sectors through international and inter-sectoral mobility combined with an innovation-oriented mind-set. 15 doctoral candidates will take advantage of the most sophisticated numerical tools and laboratory equipment to model, design and predict the life of refractory materials in critical operational conditions. The RTSPC (Recruitment, Training and Skill Progress Committee) will take care about hire, train and prepare PhDs for top level employment. In addition to their individual research projects, each PhD will participate in training events and courses as part of the Network’s activities. It will include formal academic and transferable skills courses, e-learning courses, research training courses on fundamentals, engineering and refractory processing, industrial experiences, bi-lateral and informal roundtable discussions at biannual network meetings, site visits, conferences and poster competitions.My missions are to:- organize the recruitment of the 15 PhDs,- follow their Personal Career Development Plan during the whole project,- organize the scientific, technical, and soft skills trainingsin order to these PhDs are the next generation of highly employable scientists and engineers in the refractory sector and related areas.

In the context of lifelong learning, the ENSIL-ENSCI wants to promote continuing education leading to a diploma and not a diploma and also to develop privileged relations with companies.My missions are to propose and organize inter- and intra-company internships:- by planning internships on place or virtual- by following-up the continuous training actions- by communicating on the different actionsThe continuing education is in collaboration with INSAVALOR.
