I has spent the majority of my career in the FMCG environment in various senior manufacturing and IT management positions in leading FMCG companies such as SABMiller, PG Group and The Beverage Company, that gave me the opportunity to manage some of the largest Manufacturing IT projects and managing and maintaining a few of the biggest production and packaging lines in the industry. During my time as Unit Manager, Packaging Engineer, General manager and National Operations Manager, I also acquired extensive technical and planned maintenance best practices experience in for example the latest manufacturing and packaging technologies.I have an Industrial Engineering degree from the University of Pretoria (South Africa), am registered, as a Certified Professional Engineer at Engineering Council of South Africa, is a PMI accredited Project Management Professional and has a Blackbelt in Six Sigma. During my career, I have had the opportunity to apply Theory of Constraints, World Class Manufacturing and Lean Six Sigma (DMAIC) best practices and thinking in many production, distribution and maintenance environments. I enjoy working on very complex problems around the globe, working with integrated teams and using a structured approach and tool set and my project management background to analyze systems, quantify improvement potential and develop and implement best practices and systems that add “Real” value.
