My profile highlights the various passions/interests I have pursued in my life; I will start with the most recent one.I hold the position of Director of Operations at CleanTech Building Maintenance. My goal every day is to put on different lenses when looking at business operations to see how they can be improved. I was new to the commercial construction industry when I started working at CleanTech, but I felt confident I could help improve systems and processes since I had owned 3 small businesses in different industries. Since I have started, I have been the lead in taking operations to the 21st century by developing an intranet that serves our internal goals of CRM, invoicing and employee time tracking among other functions. I have been able to accomplish the technical improvements due to the fact that since 1999 I have been in the tech industry, owning 2 internet marketing companies at different times and helping small businesses create and develop their online presence. I still manage EC Web Marketing Solutions part-time helping small businesses create and market their online presence.All of this would not exist had I not started a martial arts business opening up 1 location that grew into 3 in a short period of time. This experience was definitely what gave me the passion to own/work for a small business and to always look for ways to improve the systems involved.
