Data analytics and decision-making are my passions. As the founder and CEO of Narrator AI, I have been leading a team of data experts to create an end-to-end platform that enables analysts to answer any data question in minutes. Narrator AI is built on top of the Activity Schema, a global data standard that I created and that simplifies data structure, joins, and queries. Our platform has been helping small and large companies across various industries to move faster, reduce costs, and gain insights from their data.I have over 11 years of experience in data engineering, data science, and AI, working on diverse and challenging projects. Before starting Narrator AI, I was the first hire on the data team at WeWork, where I built their data infrastructure, grew the team from zero to 40 people, and led the migration to a single data model approach. Before WeWork, I worked on self-driving cars, human-robot interaction, and AI algorithms for missile defense. I have a bachelor's degree in robotics from Cornell University, where I was a Kessler Fellow, an Intel Scholar, and an Undergraduate of the Year. I have also been recognized as one of the Forbes 30 Under 30 in Enterprise Technology.

Founder/CeoNarrator Ai Sep 2017 - PresentBrooklyn, Ny, UsNarrator (YC S19) is an end-to-end platform built on top of the data standard, the Activity Schema and starting at $500/mo. Data analyst are able to build their definitions of their user journey, and use that journey to answer any question that comes up. From there, data can be visualized in a dashboard, used to build a story like analysis, exported and more. The biggest values of Narrator is Speed and Cost reduction. Small teams are able to move fast and answer questions in minutes allowing them to preform the work of very large data teams. All while Narrator is optimized to minimize compute cost of the warehouse. -
Creator Of The Activity Schema ™️Activity Schema™️ Sep 2016 - PresentThe Activity Schema™ is a global stand modeling and querying your data in your warehouse. It allows you to prepare data to answer any question. The secret of the activity schema is :1. Simpler data structure: Everything is centered around an entity and their activities 2. Easier Joining: Data is joined using Temporal Joins (time+customer) removing the need for foreign keys. 3. Single Source of Truth: All the modeled once into activities and everything sits on top of that single table. This data model has been working for Startups to Fortune 500 companies across all industries.

Head Of DataWework Jul 2015 - Sep 2017New York, Ny, UsStarted the data team at WeWork and built out the data infrastructure to support their thousands of tables. Developed the best practice data system to leverage Fact/Dim Tables, dependency managers (Luigi, Airflow, and build our own) and BI tools (Chartio, Tablaue, Looker, etc.) to provide analytics and reporting. When system didn't scale, lead the migration to the Single Data-Model approach that companies like Spotify and Netflix have leveraged. This approach allowed WeWork to focus on insights, not maintenance. Left WeWork to Found Narrator (Look above) -
Systems EngineerRaytheon Jun 2014 - Jun 2015Arlington, Va, UsDeveloped AI algorithms for Missile Defense.I worked on improving the US's defense against IBM (Intercontinental ballistic missiles) by developing intelligent tracking and discrimination algorithms. -
Robotics ResearcherAutonomous Systems Laboratory Sep 2011 - May 2014Enabling Human-Robot Interaction Segway Scavenger hunt: Developed an algorithm that allows a robot to play 20Q with the world in a search experiment. It figures out location and item the robot is searching for given that humans can lie. Human and robot data fusion: Programing robots to interact with humans in a search andrescue mission.Campus Tour: Led the team and wrote the GNC for the robot to give an autonomous tour ofthe inside of a building.Robots: Designed and built the fleet of 9 robots used for all the research in ASL.
