Hired to restructure and increase the size of the Foundation Board, Shifted the focus from an event-driven shop to a "full service" fundraising department incorporating annual and major giving, support from corporations and foundations, and the development of a planned giving program. Increased the size of the foundation board, Instituted best practices, building a core structure from the ground up. Recruited, trained, and managed a team of gift officers, data analysts, and support staff. Designed, organized, and implemented the first Capital Campaign for McLaren Macomb, developing the first "Physician Champions" committee, and was responsible for bringing the largest 7 figure gift to the hospital. Increased giving by 40% (1M) annually and special event attendance by 60%. Installed the first donor wall in the hospital's main lobby, reinvigorated relationships across the county, and solicited new money.

Strategically planned and implemented Division II Capital Campaign for new hospital. Developed and implemented the first lay leader and grateful patient Council of Advisors for the Transplant Department, and raised $350,000. Worked directly with the Chair of Surgery to implement the Simulation, Education and Research Centers fundraising initiative securing $850,000 in capital funding. Implemented the Division II capital campaign for the HFHS West Bloomfield Hospital with a hospital wide campaign goal of $320 Million dollars.

Responsible for leading the team of gift officers and setting the direction for fundraising programs. With a portfolio of high-net-worth donors, I raised between $2-3 million dollars each year individually, with the School of Medicine raising $23M annually. Charged with instituting a strategic plan, and managing the day to day operations. Educated and partnered with physician leadership in fundraising strategies. Designed a planned giving model with main campus to grow the business. Key player in the first capital campaign for the School of Medicine.

Responsible for the day to day operations of the volunteer services department, gift shop, pastoral care, and three community outreach programs. Managed the staff, set department policy and budgets. Worked directly with the Guild President, Guild Board of Directors, with a direct reporting relationship to the Hospital President. Set strategic goals to increase volunteers (256+)in the hospital, raise money for hospital projects, and develop community-wide initiatives.
