- Mentored a group of seven first-year international students through regular meetings and planned activities, such as team-building activities and cultural immersion, and cultural shock discussions. - Directed and helped students with navigating student life at Whitman college (how does an American institution differ from other institutions) by providing campus tours, online resources, and sharing personal experiences.

- Mentored and guided computer science students in beginner and intermediate-level classes, bug detection, cleaning and optimizing codes, problem-solving techniques, and planning for homework and final projects. - Assisted students with using terminal commands, setting up IDEs, and working package managers in different operating systems (Linux, macOS, Windows). - Provided accessible help and full availability to students and supported them academically and emotionally while being on duty.

- Organized 5 weekly conversation and language sessions for 15 students. During these sessions, we did practice exercises with various levels of difficulty, played language enforcement games, watched videos or songs in Arabic. - Created a new vocabulary list and expressions outside the scope of the class in order to reinforce language skills and conversational skills. - Prepared class presentations and created lecture outlines and reviewed them with my supervisor before starting a session with the students to make sure we are tackling and reinforcing necessary language skills.

- Working on automatically manage databases by reading a directory and process files and images to create dictionaries and sub dictionaries including unique identifiers and metadata files - Using OpenCV to process images and applying different convolutional filters to extract vein lines from petal images using GaussianBlurs, adaptive thresholds, connected components, etc. - Working with GaussianMixture Models, IQRs, and NumPy to analyze pixel data and dimensionally reduce data to process them and automatically detect different colored spots on petals. (For example, identifying red spots in a yellow petal)

- Contributed to the open-source's (biascorrect.org) front-end and back-end in order to make the project more accessible and readable. - Developed effective problem-solving techniques using the Vue framework to fix preexistent issues and introduce new features.- Crafted the Project's Readme, wrote comprehensive documentation, made the code more extensible, maintainable through refactoring and troubleshooting. - Constructed end-to-end automated testing files using mocha, chai, and puppeteer to check the efficiency of the applied methods. - Worked with my research supervisor and other team members on designing an effective scrum strategy using sprints and burn-up charts.

• Developed an end-to-end data analytics API service that communicates with Azure Cognitive Services and Azure cloud, by using Python, JSON, and Azure Query, to process records from a continuously updated database. The project passed all development, and it now lives in production. • Refactored the existing project, making it highly scalable and customizable, which will save enormous amounts of time when adding a new service to the project. In addition, improved overall code coverage by adding more robust units and functional tests. Finally, created anomaly detection alerts using Kensho for continuous monitoring. • Created a Power BI dashboard to give real near time data insights and visualization about the processed data, allowing stakeholders, project managers, and business partners to make informed decisions about our products.• Created a thorough technical specification document for the new service, a troubleshooting guideline for on-call engineers, and client-facing documentation, allowing everyone on my organization and vendors to understand and utilize the new feature.

- Developed an open-source python script: a domain generalization method using anticausal and causal features through a set transformer, using PyTorch, CausalDiscoveryToolBox, NumPy, Pandas, and scikitlearn. Investigated current causal inference algorithms on DomainBed and analyzing our under-development model to improve its predictability and accuracy compared to current algorithms. - Compiled an extensive literature review analysis on multiple research papers concerning do-calculus, empirical risk minimization, causal inference, and set transformers.

- Tutored a group of high-need students from varying classes in High school (from freshman to senior) in Math, Physics, and English. - Helped students with homework, study plans, and personal growth through planned meetings and conversations to monitor their progress and their capacity to learn.
