I'm a Junior Mud Logger collects and monitors all information, geological samples, and data from sensors etc., coming in via a real-time computer-based data acquisition system during drilling operations, collection, cleaning and drying and preparation of water base mud or oil base mud acquired samples. ▪ Description and organized recording ofsamples and lithology. ▪ Proper sample depth recording and lag time. ▪ Correlation of samples and gas chromatography readings. ▪ Calculation of DX and pressureinterpretation and shale density measurement. ▪ Create and update logs and written reports for Well Site Geologist and client representative. ▪ Contributing to maintain asafe working environment on the rig, by interpreting the data at hand and giving feedback to the Surface Logger Senior, drilling team and client representative. ▪ Onsite customer support. ▪ Maintenance of assigned rig and equipment. ▪ Supervising of operationswith rig personnel of the shale shakers to assure proper mesh sizing, accurate sampleseparation and capture, and proper gas extraction equipment and sensors placement during all operations. ▪ Assist fellow Mud loggers, Data Engineers and Pressure Engineers when needed. ▪ Comply with all quality, health, safety and environment procedures set by GEOLOG and the client to ensure a save safe working environment.
