This is an overview of a role at a company’s management head office. The responsibilities include coordinating work among projects and overseeing the technical office for those projects. The main responsibilities of the role include :• Preparing Quantity Surveying for structural and architectural items.• Preparing or revising the Subcontractor’s and Owner’s invoices.• Studying the project contract documents (project design drawings, BOQ, etc).• Analyzing drawings and other documentation and preparing cost estimates including labour, materials and subcontractors.• Perform breakdown for submitting variation order ( VOs ).• Making or revising Shop drawings.• Coordinate between architectural, structural, and electromechanical drawings.• Study, prepare and review requests for Information ( RFI ) for all missing, unclear, conflicting or other technical matters that may arise during construction.

I worked on the High City Mall project for Le Ciel Contracting, a sister company of Safwa Urban Development. The mall islocated in Obour city with an area of 18,000 m2 and a total flat area of 19,500 m2, with a basement, ground floor, two typicalfloors, and a roof floor. My role on the project was as a technical office engineer onsite. My main responsibilities included : • Preparing Quantity Surveying for structural and architectural items.• Making or revising Shop drawings.• Coordinate between architectural, structural, and electromechanical drawings.• Meeting with clients, engineers, architects, project consultants, contractors and subcontractors.• Study, prepare and review requests for Information ( RFI ) for all missing, unclear, conflicting or other technical mattersthat may arise during construction.• Preparing and submitting Project Documents such as and not limited to IR, MIR.• Preparing or revising the Subcontractor’s invoices.• Preparing daily and monthly reports for monitoring the work progress, carried out in the project.
