Laboratory Manager
CurrentI lead a team of laboratory professionals to ensure the safety of the nation’s food supply by testing food and environmental samples for food borne illness causing pathogens. I am responsible for ensuring that the lab is in compliance with regulatory requirements and standards by performing monthly and annual internal audits, as well as participating in annual third party audits. I am responsible for talent acquisition and the training of new hires. I am responsible for all regular equipment maintenance and verifications, and quality verifications of supplies and materials.
