Role Purpose  Responsible for developing and managing category strategies that are controlled by the Regional Procurement Office and supported by the Global Procurement Office.  Lead regional and country sourcing initiatives and optimisation projects for byproducts and auxiliaries. The scope of byproducts includes organic and inorganic byproducts, and the scope of auxiliaries includes but is not limited to filtration mediums, cleaning in place (CIP) chemicals and other process agents.  Collaborate with the Zone Brewing Support team to drive operational capacity for improved by-product revenue and optimisation of auxiliary sourcing and utilisation, Zone Technical Development team and external partners to develop higher margin byproduct innovations, supplier development team to drive results within BBBEE, and analytics and sourcing support teams within the Regional Procurement Shared Services office.  Responsible for supporting implementation managers in the successful execution of byproduct and auxiliary strategies at a regional and country level within Zone Africa.Key Responsibilities and Achievements  Category Management and Strategy Development for the Africa Zone. High focus on continues improvement and minimising any cost/spend increases in the Zone. KPI’s include innovation projects for Africa to ensure the norm is tested regularly.  Key numbers as part of my role:- Auxiliaries Category Spend in Africa - $100million- Manage 13 Countries in Africa, including South Africa, Nigeria, Tanzania, & Zambia- In excess of 30 different sub-categories as part of Auxiliaries, including Secondary Raw Materials, Food Grade Chemicals and Enzymes & CIP. - By-products Category – Developing/Identifying Markets for selling by-products produced in more than 30 Breweries in Africa. - Revenue Target of more than $8million for Africa- Key Targets Increasing payment terms from suppliers by an average of 30 days for 2017.

Role Purpose  Appointed as the RSS for Africa in the Maintenance, Repair & Operations Category for SABMiller. Key Roles and Responsibilities  Sub-Categories managed for Africa under MRO is:- Cleaning and Chemical Products & Services, Consumables, Laboratory Supplies & Services, Parts, Equipment Maintenance and Repair, Technical Gases, Site Services. As the RSS for these Sub-Categories I am responsible for the following:- Category Strategy Development and Implementation- Strategic Sourcing Activities throughout Africa- Preparation and completion of full Tender processes for these categories in Africa.- Obtaining Spend Transparency and Baseline Development in the different countries.- Identifying regional opportunities and delivering Value Add and Cost Benefits in these countries.- Continuously improving current Contracts/Business areas through Value Identification.- Assisting in Supplier Relationship Management (KPI Development and Tracking) Key Achievements- Zimbabwe Chemicals and CIP Project – I ran the project from Identifying the initiative to contract award and supplier management – I achieved total bottom line savings of 2.2 million USD. - South Africa Security – I ran the complete Security Project for 56 SAB sites in South Africa - The contract was awarded to 3 major suppliers – Unaccountable Losses on the balance sheet has been reduced by R 50 million due to new Processes and Ways of Working implemented.

Role Purpose  Appointed as a Regional Sourcing Specialist as part of a Project that was launched at SABMiller for 6 months. The project is to gain spend data and information for the 15 countries that SABMiller has offices in Africa and mainly to develop a pipeline of possible savings initiatives and projects that can be implemented over the next 3 years. The categories focused on are Fleet & Fuel, Logistics, MRO and CAPEX.Key Responsibilities and Achievements  Obtaining, analysing and structuring spend data for 13 countries per category per supplier for each of the countries visited. As part of a team of 3 we Identified close to 7 million USD worth of benefits to be made from projects. Feasibility studies on these projects to ensure the estimated benefits can be made. Running complete tenders, Sourcing exercises and supplier negotiations for the selected projects. Developing Service Level Agreements (SLA’s) in the various countries to ensure security of supply at optimal costs.  Working with Stakeholders in the various countries throughout the exercises.  Signing off and delivering on promised benefits.

Job Purpose  Khula Fleet is a small fleet management company that won a contract for managing part of the Transnet National Fleet in South Africa.  I was appointed in a contract position to develop and process their supply chain for the future as they had no Procurement/Supply Chain Department. Key Roles and Responsibilities  Developing and implementing processes and procedures for operational as well as strategic procurement.  Negotiating contracts and Service Level Agreements (SLA’s) with suppliers in the various regions in South Africa.  Ensuring supplier management measures and procedures are put in place for the various regional stakeholders to follow. Developing and enhancing the Supply Relationships with the major vehicle manufacturers in South Africa, including Ford, Toyota, Nissan, VW and GM. Leading the day to day procurement activities with the support of a small team of procurement officers, including vehicle orders, maintenance orders, parts orders. Developing cost saving and better performance strategies throughout their Supply Chain in South Africa.  Work on various new business Tenders for Private companies in Southern Africa as part of the expansion team.

Job Purpose  I was part of the Procurement team sitting in Pretoria, working as the Corporate Hub for Sub-Saharan Africa, in total we cover 34 Countries.  I was responsible for Procurement and Contracts in 13 countries in Eastern Africa. Key Roles and Responsibilities  Implementing Procurement and Contract strategies throughout the offices under my responsibility. Giving guidance on all purchasing strategies for commodities below £25,000K. Personally handling and developing all contracts above a £25,000K budget, covering the complete process with the assistance and local knowledge of the various offices. Approval of purchase orders above £25K for Eastern Africa. Facilitating the Supplier Optimisation Process throughout the offices under my responsibility. Driving savings through Implementing different strategies, market research, flexible contracts, framework agreements and supplier optimisation. Analysing quarterly and half yearly spend of the various offices to ensure continuous improvement of purchasing strategies are maintained.  Generating reports from the offices under my responsibility once a year to be sent to Head Office in London for review. Working with a wide variety of commodities, each commodity with its own contractual requirements. Commodities Include: Security services throughout Africa, Vehicle Fleet Requirements, Construction and maintenance of large Estates, Commercial and Residential, Medical Aid Contracts per Country, Commercial and residential furniture frameworks, Travel and Accommodation Contracts for flights throughout Africa as well as the United Kingdom.

Job Purpose  As part of the Procurement and Supply Chain Function I handle the following Commodities for the Medupi and Kusile Power Stations: All Storage and Preservation of Equipment Contracts, All Shipping and Transportation Contracts, All Small Works Construction Contracts, Major Equipment PackagesKey Roles and Responsibilities  Effective implementation of Procurement and Supply Chain processes and principles. Cost savings against various day to day transactions as well as strategic commodities. Developing RFX Documents for various projects. Developing KPI’s and SLA’s to ensure optimal value for money from Suppliers. Structuring contracts for the RFX.  Negotiating contracts at various levels, including: Payment Terms and Delivery Dates, Warranties and Bonds etc. Implementing the Contracts Contract management throughout ongoing manufacturing and the supplier delivering against pre-set objectives.

One-year experience in PLV is equal to exposure and experience that a normal person will obtain over period of 3 – 4 years in a normal Corporate environment.Program Outcomes I was coached trained and mentored during this time to ensure I have the ability to understand, apply and integrate the commercial skills obtained through studies. I was fast tracked and exposed to all the levels in the organisation, operational, tactical and strategic. Development of Supplier Cost Models, Strategic Sourcing and Commodity/Category Management, Total Cost of Ownership Models.  Implementation of sustainable solutions including controls and corporate governance.  On-going management of agreements, benefits tracking and continues improvement.I was exposed and trained in all of the above.Projects involved in whilst employed at PLVFeb 2012 – April 2012 I was tasked to do the Spend Analysis and Spend Segmentation for Civcon.  This included spend segmentation into commodity groups.  Risk ranking of commodity groups into strategic, bottleneck, leverage and non-critical items / services.  Benchmarking and Price Comparisons Identification of opportunities and recommendations to Civcon.
