The project is to gain spend data and information for the 15 countries that SABMiller has offices in Africa and mainly to develop a pipeline of possible savings initiatives and projects that can be implemented over the next 3 years. The categories focused on are Fleet & Fuel, Logistics, MRO and CAPEX.Key Responsibilities and Achievements Obtaining, analysing and structuring spend data for 13 countries per category per supplier for each of the countries visited. As part of a team of 3 we Identified close to 7 million USD worth of benefits to be made from projects. Feasibility studies on these projects to ensure the estimated benefits can be made. Running complete tenders, Sourcing exercises and supplier negotiations for the selected projects.
