Managing educational projects and activities, worked with Allied Health professions (AHPs) within NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde and the Golden Jubilee National Hospital to develop the workplace learning environment. Individual projects contribute to embedding work based learning resources such as Flying Start and effective Practitioner;increasing the capacity, quality and range of learning opportunities for pre-registration AHP students, and establishing both uni-professional and inter professional Continuous Professional Development opportunities within the health boards.

Worked within a multi disciplinary hospital discharge team providing care management, initial assessment and occupational therapy as part of the discharge team.

South East Glasgow Chp-Community Older Peoples Service

Provided multi disciplinary assessment, care management and occupational therapy as part of a rapid response and prevention of admission team. Lead on development of the OT role within the team.

South Glasgow University Hospitals Nhs Trust

Provided Occupational Therapy intervention in a rotational post covering elderly assessment and continuing care, medical, surgical and outreach; invovled in service development and student education.

The Victoria Infirmary Nhs Trust

This post was rotational including department of medicine for older people, stroke rehabilitation, orthopaedic unit for older people and orthopaedic wards (pre-operative clinic, arranged admission and trauma wards).
