Results to be published in an academic journal, a thesis and presentation, and extension article.- Built a discounted financial model for a $150 million aviation biofuel conversion plant to determine the financial feasibility of the project. Performed a literature review, collected data from industry professionals, and developed a financial model of the project.- Modeled future conventional jet fuel and diesel prices to account for risk in the market. - Analyzed the impact of risk on the project. Using sensitivity analysis, identified inputs that were particularly high in risk, collected data that included a distribution for these inputs, and used @Risk in Excel to find a distribution of breakeven prices for the biofuel sold at a given probability of loss for the project.
