With user centred design at the heart of everything I do, from re-designing Oxford Circus to building enterprise software that transforms supplier relationships at IAND.I started my first technology business, Intelligent Space Partnership aged 24, which I then sold to Atkins, a FTSE 250 global infrastructure company in 2007. In my eight years at Atkins I held numerous operational, commercial and leadership roles and led on both Future Cities and Innovation. In 2016 I founded my second start up IAND to unlock the power of business ecosystems, and drive smart partnerships between clients and their suppliers. Over the past 5 years I have been active in shaping the Government’s engineering policy with a focus on innovation and diversity through my work at the Royal Academy of Engineering and at the IET. I work with start-ups and large companies to drive innovation across the sector. Key awards include: elected as a Young Global Leader to the World World Economic Forum in 2010, received the Silver Medal from the Royal Academy of Engineering in 2013, and in 2017 I was granted an MBE for services to Engineering and Enterprise in the Queen’s Birthday Honours.
