I provide strategic policy and research advisory on food, the environment and human health. I support decision-makers in the UK, at EU level and in international organisations to make better policies for our food systems. I explore the relationships between scientific research, the development of new technologies, agriculture, health and nutrition, and environmental protection. Across these I have covered issues not only from ‘farm to fork’, but from ‘lab to fork’, particularly the role of scientific research and innovation in transforming the food chain.
