I am Immersive Edge's Commercial & Training Director, driving meaningful and measurable change in global organisations through the power of simulation-based experiential learning, learning by doing. I facilitate immersive, fast-paced online and in-person themed simulations as a core part of learning and development strategy for workforces of all shapes, sizes and levels, linked to agreed learning outcomes to benefit the individual and the organization or educational institution they work/study within. I relish forging enduring partnerships and relationships with clients and colleagues throughout what has been a rewarding, varied and enjoyable career.I previously worked as Director of Partnerships UK for LearningMate, working with Higher Education providers to deliver against ambitious long term digital transformation and student experience objectives.Prior to this I led, built and motivated a successful team of 8 Business Development professionals at the world's largest Professional Accountancy body, the ACCA.I spent the first 16 years of my career in a range of customer focused roles, most notably climbing an exciting career ladder at Pearson throughout their digital transformation to becoming the leading digital content and assessment provider in the education sector. In the latter years there I was privileged to lead and build a sales function at Pearson’s own College, growing and motivating a successful, sales-focused student recruitment team for visual effects and business courses (Masters programs & Short Courses), whilst overseeing their degree apprenticeships B2B sales team in terms of sales focus and pipeline management. In 2020 I stepped out of my comfort zone (sales) to take up a role as a Director of Student Experience at a London based HEI, managing the full end to end student journey from admissions through to alumni at an institution which championed making higher education business degrees affordable and accessible for all.In 2019 I re-entered the sales leadership world in a new start up for the UK as a Business Development Manager for SaaS platform EngagementHQ, part of Australian company Bang the Table, driving 100% new business generation for a community engagement and public consultation platform. I have boundless enthusiasm for supporting and encouraging people to succeed in their lives and careers. 😀
