About Elton Gladstone
Graduated in August 2018 from Virginia Tech with a degree in Computer Engineering, I am a Software Engineer, with expertise in Software development and testing. Currently , I am working with Applied Signals Intelligence, a defense contractor, as a Software Engineer, whose responsibilities include researching the viability of various geo-spatial API's for the applications required by the company, and to implement these required functionalities using the so identified APIs. This includes working with GIS related open source software such as gdal and Cesium.js.In the past I have worked with one of Lockheed Martin's Principal Engineers, Mr.Richard Pedersen, and helped him develop, prove and implement a new network configuration that he has been working on for several decades. For this purpose I, along with my teammate developed a program that can automatically generate HDL, given the size of the network and its properties.Previously, I was a Software testing intern at EVVEMI, Inc., where I was responsible for testing software developed by the Engineers there.Competencies: C, C++, Java, JavaScript,Node.js,Cesium.js,HTML,CSS,Python, Embedded Systems, Sensor setup, Matlab, Data structures and related algorithms, Micro-controller programming, Unit and functional testing, Software version control, Hardware description language, Linux, Multi-threading, Transactional programming, Virtualization.
